This project addresses the execution of a Masterplan for the development of a tourist-residential complex in Romania. Located in a privileged site, just over 3 km from the Black Sea, and 16 km from the international airport of Constanza, the area to be developed is at an intermediate point between the town of Corbu and its nearest coastline.
Urban plans call for a zoning formed by eleven large supersized-blocks served by a perimeter entrance/exit road. The first superblock houses a tall building, as a singular urban landmark. The remaining ten, with triangular shapes and sized over 10,000m2, will house 2 or 3 blocks of staggered houses 6 to 8 floors, with a large private interior landscaped space equipped with swimming pool and children’s playground.
On the main axis there are small commercial and service buildings as well as communal gardens or sports areas to complete the urbanisation options. Almost all the houses have double orientation, most of them opening onto the interior garden and overlooking the sea. The home-type variety is extensive, from studio-type homes, to homes with over 3 bedrooms or even 4, and unique penthouse homes.
