Villa +

This summer and weekend house belongs to a large family and is located in the middle of one of the slopes in the Torre Bellver area, offering magnificent views over the sea and an optimal southeastern orientation. The plot is terraced on various horizontal platforms which rise to the level of the house on which the main terrace and pool are set, serving as a horizon over the sea. The house and its terraces are configured as a collection of different shapes that create a new, artificial topology to the slope into which it is set.The design of the house dictates the outdoor spaces of the plot, taking advantage of its steep slope. Thus it provides a large basement car-parking area with a more private, closed area and another that is open and more public, leading into the main entrance hall to the living area. The basement also houses the staff’s quarters and technical rooms. The house’s design proposes a layout almost entirely on one level, with the lower floor housing only the guest area and a studio room, creating a rich double-height interior space over the living area on one side and, on the other, helping to configure the outdoor space, linking the fragmented shapes of the main floor. Here, the spacious design comprises a living room, dining room, kitchen-breakfast room with utility room, pantry and outdoor terrace with barbecue. The other unit contains the children’s bedrooms and bathrooms and, at the far end, the master suite with dressing room and en suite.  See more
