This small residential complex of eight apartments is located in the Torre Bellver area on the Oropesa coast. Steeply sloping and with magnificent views over the bay of Benicàssim, the plot is terraced on four levels:The upper level, where the parking area, building access and the first two homes are located. The second level with three homes connected by a corridor which ‘sews’ the three shapes together, providing shape to the whole design. The lower level, on which three further homes are situated, a combination of single-storey and duplex styles to offersome variety. Finally, on the lowest level of the plot the communal landscapedterraces, swimming pool and sunbathing area are located. The project is built from exposed brick and white stone walls, while inside ceramic and natural wood are the mainprotagonists. The overall image is unified and firm, succeeding, through its fragmentation into three separate parts, in integrating the design into the very fabric of the mountain. 2006 Prizewinner, Valencian Institute of Building Architecture Award (IVE)See more
